“Dr. Dave Rogers, a pediatric eye surgeon said, ‘I argue to get drugs approved that I know patients need, but the insurance company wants it cheaper. It wastes 30 minutes out of my day, everyday. I have to call the insurance company and explain to them that the drug won’t work. Then I speak with a pharmacist and explain the case, the pharmacist then agrees with my plan of treatment and that the cheaper drug won’t work.’ If any other doctors have had similar frustrations with step therapy share your story on our page. #whatistheanswertocancer #2yearsis2long”
